Having spent the last 21 years in Management in a variety of settings (high volume retail, Voluntary sector and ESF funded projects,) as a manager one of my biggest issues has been sourcing training relevant to the particular setting I was involved in.
Very often the Trainers employed have tried to fit the Business into their own training structures, rather than adapt the training to the needs of the Business. With this in mind at NJB Consultancy we work with Business partners to design, through consultation specific training to meet the needs of each individual organisation or environment .
Over the years I have realised the benefits of having a well trained staff team, having successfully run small, medium and large businesses or projects often over multiple sites.
The need for training, sits alongside the need for clear communication and defined systems and structures. However training alone provides just part of a manager’s portfolio.
As a coach, one of the first things to be identified is whether poor leadership or management, often owing to lack of management support or organisational culture, can be re-shaped by adopting a learned coaching style, redefining and redirecting organisational drive.The impact on your workforce will always be positive
